Clock up your kms for World Suicide Prevention Day

Get involved

Individuals, families and communities are invited to participate in ‘Cycle around the Globe’ to bring awareness to suicide prevention and raise funds for essential education and training programs in the Newcastle region.

From 2 - 22 September, participants will come together to show their support by cycling a nominated amount of kilometres, contributing to the collective global cycle of 40,075km for World Suicide Prevention Day.

Prizes

Participants will be automatically entered into the prize once their application has been received.

There are two prizes to be won:

  1. Individual - Prize of $100 (x 1) voucher for a restaurant of your choice. Winner selected by LifeSpan Newcastle team through random draw on 22 September 2017
  2. Group – Prize of $200 (x 1) towards club BBQ or function. Winner is the group with the most kilometres logged as at 22 September 2017

Prize winners will be notified by phone or email.

Fundraise and contribute to Team Newcastle

You can do this in two ways:

  1. Clock up your kms: complete the registration form (above) to track your kilometres to contribute to Team Newcastle’s cycled kilometres
  2. Fundraise during the event: donations can be made to LifeSpan on our Donations page. Contributions will be used to support education and training on suicide prevention in the Newcastle region.
